Who Is Bill?

In 2001, following a career in the Police Force, Bill pursued his interest in art by completing a course in Art & Design. Bill then followed the course with a HNC in ceramics which then led him to The University of Westminster - Harrow Campus, where he studied for a 3 year BA Honours Degree in Ceramics, graduating in 2005. A further course for sculpture in figure heads was completed between 2005 - 2006.

Commissions

Bill has been commissioned by individuals to do both head and body sculptures of adults and head sculptures of children. Garden features being very popular too.

To celebrate and commemorate the 150th anniversary of Fowlmere Village School, Bill was commissioned and sponsored by o2, It’s Your Community Award, South Cambridgeshire District Council and Fowlmere Parish Council, to interpret and transfer paintings done by pupils of the school depicting local scenes and buildings of interest in the village on to hand made ceramic tiles. They were then transferred to panels and have been used to decorate the internal seating area of the village bus shelter. This project was featured in the daily Cambridge newspaper.
